Bergie came out of the shed in early April-the weekend of Palm Sunday. He started right up and ran just fine. It's April 20 now, and I've ridden him a few times to work. Still using last year's gas!
Not much of an update between April and August. Bergie's been my ride all summer. He has a couple of problems that need some love. His front forks squirt oil wiht every bump. That still amazes me-I would have expected all of the fork oil to be gone by now. He definitely needs new seals. I have them on the bench, just haven't installed them yet. He also needs his front brake re-bled. It's spongy. I built a special pressurized brake bleed tool that, in theory, will make this job simple. His seat is still locked shut. I haven't done anything to him because Buster's still not back on the road. Once Buster gets done, and rolling, I'll have a go at Bergie.
